I wonder it's "Technology ok" for working in bank. They won't take the risk to try new techology. May be as senior or consultant, you may study new things. Be for most programmers, would only have bug fix and maintenance tasks most likely...
Private Time ok, really depends on which bank... I'm not sure for HSBC...
